Island Ugljan is one of the most beautiful islands in the Zadar archipelago, located right across from the city of Zadar with which it is connected by numerous ferry lines from Preko. There are 18 daily routes between Preko - Zadar and vice versa (one-way journey takes about 20 minutes). For generations, it has been associated with the sea maritime and fisheries, and over 2000 years of tradition in olive growing has left hundreds of thousands of olive trees from which oil of exceptional quality and aroma has been obtained. This Adriatic pearl is of a peculiar character, endowed by nature with beautiful Mediterranean flora and fauna, numerous crystal-blue bays and pebble beaches. All over the northeast side of the island are the places of which the most famous are Kukljica, Kali, Ugljan and Preko. Near the center of Preko this old stone house has been settled. The traditional way of life is related to the sea, agriculture, and fisheries, which have remained with all other modern activities in all places until today, making the island richer in economic, cultural and traditional terms. In this traditional spirit, with this blend of modern design, this beautiful house was created. It is hundred years old, placed in a row of stone houses that together makes Brižić yards so it belongs to the oldest stone houses in the village. It is superbly and modernly renovated, yet again exuding indigenous Mediterranean architecture. This stone house is located on 119m2 carefully decorated interior, arranged on the ground floor, first floor and attic. The experience of the interior is complemented by perfectly dosed stone details combined with a modern design, so a comfortable, warm, functional and timeless ambiance is achieved, and on the other hand, it allows small interventions if desired, and can easily adapt to any new habits and the wishes of the householders. On the ground floor, there is a living room, dining room and kitchen, which are enclosed in one unit without bulkheads. There is also a modern wood-burning stove (central heating), which is practical because it heats all three floors. The semi-circular staircase leads to the first floor, which consists of two smaller rooms and an exit to the terrace, and in the attic is a large bedroom with skylights that overlook the Zadar Canal, the city of Zadar and Velebit. This building has an economy room, which is a separate building of 6 m2, and is about 10 m away from the main building. It has everything from basic infrastructure (electricity, sewage, water supply, telephone, Internet). There is good traffic connections to all places and interurban roads, and the distance from the parking lot is 10 m. The distance from the sea is 150 m, from the village center, shops, post office also 150m. Complete paperwork and ownership are edited 1/1.
